I've never done this, but I am contemplating...I have some jewelry that I just haven't worn in ages, and was thinking of selling it.

I sold an old flute that I had laying around, and I made WAY more money that I ever thought I would. I also sell things on Half.com which is through ebay also. I say go for it! Good luck!
I want to know too...I didn't wear my headpiece (wore another one) and veil...i wanted to sell it on ebay...

I would just make sure to include pictures. But I should think that your jewelry and headpiece would sell quickly. I believe you can choose how long to have the auction. Between 5 days and I maybe it's 12. Not sure. But it's not bad. I got addicted to looking to see when people bid on my flute! And if it doesn't sell, you're only out the few dollars it costs to post it. It's pretty secure since you can choose how to be paid.

I have sold a few things on ebay and have made a decent profit. Most of the stuff I sell is new, but things I have duplicates of and don't want anymore. I did sell my crinoline slip and veil on ebay after my wedding. I set up an account through Pay Pal and everything is worked through there, money wise. The hassle comes when you are finalized and have to ship your item in a timely manner. I'd say go for it!!

I've sold lots and lots on ebay. Not any jewelry though. I suggest searching for completed items that are similar to see how other people described the items and what kind of responses they got. Let me know if you have questions.

we've sold some things as well. Al sold the hard top to his miata (after he sold the car) and we made a lot of $$ on that. No shipping either - it was pick up only. He also sold the car boot that he found in the garage a year after the car was gone.
We've done it a bunch of times. Sometimes with good luck and sometimes auctions ending with no bids. I should do some more - we have a ton of stuff to get rid of!

if you need money, search for 'old sock, or dirty sock' there is a footfetish thing with thm on ebay and they pay alot of money
