My best friend stood at the Avalon in Cancun and visited the Reff Club in Isla Mujeres, Mexico and loved them both.

For reviews, I highly recommend www.tripadvisor.com

We are trying to plan a short trip in Sepetmber and we want to spend less than $1000 for 4 days.

I have never been to mexico, but am concerend with hurricanes during that month.

I read Tripadvisor all the time. It's such a useful tool.

Well they went in the last week of November which is just outside hurricane season and she said it was hot and beautiful. They stood in the 3* one (the cheapest I think) and had no complaints for what it was: affordable, AI, convenient to all (they did a lot of sight seeing, even rented a car and went to town on their own) and it worked within her budget.
