has anyone ever stayed at the Bacuti resort or the Renissance resort in Aruba?

Thanks! I read that the Bucuit is very quiet which is great for my honeymoon - but is there nothing to do there? Is their entertainment at night or anything?

Do you know if the drinks are expensive?

Hey my sister had her wedding at the Rennissance private island so we all stayed at the Marriott. In my opinion the hotel is not spectacular, its good.(esp the rooms). The nice thing is they have the private island but to me your in Aruba and all of the beaches are beautiful. The plus side of staying at the Marriott is that its dead center in town so you really dont have to take cabs into town at night. I wasnt a big fan of staying in town.

After they got married they went to the Bacuti and stayed their for the rest of their honeymoon and I know she told me they didnt have room service for breakfast and the restaurant was horribe. She said she would of just rathered stay at the Marriott.

Another time me n FH went to Aruba and stayed at the RUI and AMAZZZZZZING you will love that- esp for your honeymoon you want to splurge a little and feel special!

Havent been to either but did go to aruba on my HM... Dont go for the renaissance though... its directly smack in the middle of town... across from the marina and not beachfront... There are tons of other hotels on the beach to choose from... I wont recommend mine bc it wasnt 'HM-like' (we traded a timeshare for it so it wasnt luxurious)

ETA: Oh and I wouldnt recommend doing all inclusive....only because there are TONS of great restaurants to try out...
