I took all 3 of the Wilton Cake Decorating classes at Michael's in Levittown 3 years ago. The instructor was wonderful. At the time, I think they were offering a special that the cost of the class was free if you bought the class kit of supplies at Michael's. Both were about $25 each. During the class they show you lots of other gadgets that make decorating easier, so I spent much more than that in the following weeks! But it was worth it, because I continue to use these supplies throughout the year.

I take my daughter all the time (in Westchester). I have not taken a class cause they just never go with my schedule. I took my daughter to AC Moore in Glendale this past weekend, she made a bracelet. So I brought her a kit, and she made 5 more at home

Me! I have to say that it was fun and again, there were only 3 girls in the class so the teacher was able to spend alot of time with us. The only thing is that she only shows you the most basic font. I've been practicing it for like 2 months now and I STILL haven't mastered it totally yet AND it's not even the swirly pretty one I would want on my invitations. Also, if you are a lefty, the teacher had a real problem with that...My friend who came with me was basically told at the class that the teacher had no idea on whether or not she could do it; that the teacher had never had a lefty student.
