Has anyone ever taken dance lessons?

I have been watching dancing with the stars lately and now I feel like learning how to dance. I wouldn't be able to wear the outfits they wear ...But it looks like fun!

Have any of you ladies ever taken dance lessons?

I've taken a few dance classes here and there.

I am HORRIBLE at following steps. It's a lot different from shaking your body to music at a party.

I think Im so horrible at dancing the poor teacher would give me my money back. BUT when I have a few drinks in me I think Im the best dance in the world

My husband and I took dance lessons for about 5 weeks before the wedding. We took them at Arthur Murray's dance school. It was fun and stressful. It also is expensive! I am glad we did it but I wasn't too crazy about our teacher. She gave up on my husband after the second lesson and just proceeded to teach me. That certainly wouldn't work! So we ended up paying for both of us to take private lessons until we learned the dance. I would go back to Arthur Murray's but never to that teacher!!!

We definitely need to! Fh has 2 left feet and when I say white boy cant dance I mean that to the fullest! He tries and its cute tho

My DH & I took dance lessons before our wedding with John from Ballroom Dance Long Island. He was great!

i did, loved the experience, DH and I didn't want to just shuffle to music so we learned 4 months before our wedding 1x a week for 10 weeks and it was money well spent!

our guests were so amazed by the waltz and swing routines we did. :D it really set the tone for the rest of the guests!

My parents actually started taking dance lessons at Arthur Murray school. They LOVE it. I could never get FH to go with me no matter how much I begged!!
