I was just watching Dateline and the guy who did hypnosis said he felt like it really helped him. Can anyone recommend a hypnosist? I'm willing to try anything to motivate me!

i watched it to. Those people were all soo happy!! I dont know of anyone who used it but it seemed to work for the one on dateline.

I went once but something about it made me uncomfortable so I never went back. I can't put my finger on what made me uncomfortable but I would recommend people go and decide for themselves.
Weight loss through hypnosis is usually pretty successful since people that go genuinely want to lose weight. That's the biggest part - deciding to make the changes necessary.

I just saw that dateline too!!! I would love to hear some responses... even for smoking...trying to get my parents to quit!

My mother tried it for smoking and it had no effect on her (but I don't think she really wanted to quit ). If you really beleive it'll work, I'm sure it will but through your own willpower.

hypnosis is great for weight loss...quitting smoking and pain control...but like Christine said...you have to be very open...if you are skeptical or don't feel comfortable it probably won't work
