has anyone ever used one of those furniture direct clubs advertised?
We just gutted our entire house and need furniture for every room. I know there's a fee to join but since we need so much stuff I thought the savings would be worth it in the long run. Anyone have any experiences, or suggestions?

Our friends checked it out. Their fee is due up front and I think it's around $5k or more. They're very secretive about their items and such...our friends had to sneak their catalog out. They also decided it wasn't worth it.

The one I looked at when I was at one of the home shows had a lot of 'no-name' name furniture - stuff I didn't recognize but sounded 'like' a well known brand. They did show name appliances, carpeting and such, but I was skeptical about the furniture.
