I know TWO people who won the big NY prize. A girlfriend of mine won $20 million about 10 years ago, and a guy friend of mine won $40 million 7 years ago. I guess that means my chances are slim and none!

Ok...HEre's my LONG lottery stories! ( this will kill you and also make you and me realize that I WILL NEVER WIN!)

FH's brother won $5k a week for life less then 2 years ago ( yes a week and for LIFE!!) The checks started coming within 2 weeks of winning...hes 32, FSIL is 28 for they get to ENJOY IT!

FH won $5000 on a scratch off in January ( thats how I got my ring )

My cousin won $100 million Pennsylvania lottery 10 years ago( along with 30 other people....but he still gets a nice check once a year)

In High school my close friends Dad won $60 million ( only winner)

FH's brother bought a scratch off( he still PLAYS!!!!_ for FMIL last week and she won $1000

It must be in the familys blood( thats why Im marrying into it....LOL!!!) But that is the story also of why we are giving scratch off's as favors for our wedding!

I was chosen to shoot pucks on the ice at MSG during a Ranger game in 1995 (?) ... sponsored by NYS Lottery and the prize was scratch offs.

I didn't do well, but got all the tickets cause unlike the guy who I was going against, I was willling to try to for the shot from center ice which made the Garden go nutz ...

I ended up winning a total of $357 scratching like mad ...

I knew someone who was part of a group of 5 people that won at her job. I think she got like 4 million. Far as I know, she never moved or anything.

I never liked that lady.
