I have a test and interview this week, and I wanted to know, what is the test like, and what is the job like and what do you usually have to wear?

I worked as a bank teller in College in FL. Each bank is different. I remember they were tests to measure your attention to detail. Things like rows of numbers on a TV screen and you had to find the matching numbers. They may test your math, but they didn't when I went throught it. It's mostly coordination and attention to detail. they try to see who is more likely to make mistakes. I'm sure you'll be fine. they weren't hard tests, that much I remember. Good luck. We had to dress professional. Dresses, skirts and blouses, etc.

BIL was a teller for a while. He thought the test was very easy! There was a week of training he had to go through too. He wore a collared shirt, dress pants, and either a sweater or a tie.

Im going on thursday for an interview with Washington Mutual. I am NOT A GOOD test taker when it comes to math. im not that good in math and I get SO NERVOUS! But believe it or not im great with money. I worked in a cash office and counted 200,000.00 or more a day Give me a calculator and im set.
If you don't mind could you Let me know what the test was like?

I was bank teller in college (about 15 years ago). I don't remember taking any test before I was hired. I know I had tests during my training class.
I would imagine it would be some sort of math aptitude test.
As for what to wear...I would wear a suit (especially if you are going to interview the same day).

I dont remember taking a test I just remember them having us line up in a room and gave us individual problems (transactions). As far as how to dress, what I would wear to as a teller.
