tutortime? A BM wants to apply and shes def quailified - but wants to know if the pay is good/competitive? Any experiences?
I did at the one in Mineola and the one in East Rockaway. I did it about 8 years ago when I was in college --the pay wasn't great but I dont' know what it is now. You don't have to be certified in anything to work there unless you are with the kindergarten class -- they usually are certified teachers.
a few years back when i was still in school i checked it out...i went for an interview and spent the day visiting...i was ired but did not accept b/c the pay was so incredibly low for what the job entailed...it was an nsult honestly...that was several years ago, so it may have changed
