Has anyone every been to Fontana Bridals

in Scarsdale? How was your expierence?

My only experience is with MOB gowns. I went just this past Saturday in fact. The salesperson was quite knowledgeable about her merchandise, but I found her arrogant. Her name was Adelaide, Adelaine, something like that. Their prices on Jovani gowns seemed higher than elsewhere and even though there was a trunk show going on, no one was going out of their way to show me their new merchandise. I've seen more helpful saleswomen elsewhere. I won't be going back.
Maybe the bridal dept. is better.

Thanks LIMom - The designer I am looking for only sells to two places - fontana's and kleinfelds - i'm probably going to go to both - just wnated a heads up on what to expect there.

Two friends of mine went. One had a good experience (they put sleeves on her dress for her and they came out nice) and the other had a not so good experience but I cannot remember how bad it was but she was not too happy with them.

You are welcome. As Maribelle said, different people have different experiences - whether it's there, Kleinfeld's, Bridal Reflections, etc. Check all over and compare prices. Then I suggest you go with your instincts.
