i had a BIG framing/matting project i was doing last year. i went to michaels, but since i had so many things to frame it came out pretty pricey$$$$

so i just bought frames from ikea and walmart, matting from pearl, and a mat cutter and i did it myself

not sure if this helps you. but with the coupons w michaels, its def worth lookin into! they have pretty stuff!

I didn't go to Michael's, but I went to AC Moore to get some of my diplomas framed, I would think it would be comporable in that you would want some kind of matting and high quality frame. The framing was 50%, I think they have this kind of special all the time, but it was kind of pricey, and the pricing went according to the size of the piece you wanted framed and how you wanted it matted.

Hope this helps!

i went to michaels with a 40% off coupon. it was still obnoxious pricing!!! i found a mom'n'pop framing store in astoria and used them instead
