Do you think I need to make an appointment to go during the afternoon weekday? How is their selection? What about service?

Ok, I'm not going to help much, but my Grandma went there!
My mom said they had a big selection in general,but they obviously were looking at evening gowns. It was on their list to go back to. ETA they didn't have anappt, but sometimes it is different for brides.

A good place for looking they have a pretty good selection BUT over priced!!!! You don't need an appt. at least I didn't and I went there on a Saturday.

i went there and they were very overpriced, they were about 100 more for my dress and the alterations and bustle were more than double the price of what i'm paying at cathy's

My mom got her dress there for my wedding. We ordered it and its in. The dress 'almost fits' so they ordered the right size. She hasn't gone for alterations yet. They seemed very nice- not pushy or snotty.

I don't know about the one in Lindenhurst, but the lady (owner) of Renates in Wantagh, and I believe it is the same person, is EXTREMELY nasty. Awful experience with her, and I recommmend anyone go somewhere else.

I went there last week...just walked in ( around 5:30) , no appointment needed...Linda helped me, and she was nice, she stayed with me, helped with the dresses, was very attentive. They had a lot of dresses/styles...all tags on , and the 3 dresses I tried on there were the exact same price at Commack Wedding Center...Nothing in there store is Over $1000...most around the $550-$750 range....I ended up not liking the dresses , but If they had the one I liked, I would have bought from them because they were so nice...
Fh's aunt got her dress there last year and she said they cap alterations too..which is a huge plus ( not sure if they still do though)

I ordered my dress there, and they couldnt have been nicer. They gave me all the time in the world a couple of times (w/o an appt), and helped me with my sisiters (MOH) and Jr. BM gowns. They capped my alterations at 150.00 also. I would highly recommend them and anyone who has gotten there gown there has never complained. Hope this helps.
