Has anyone gotten their marriage license on Queens Blvd????

I wanted to take a half day from work and was wondering if I went around 2:00 is they would process it.

I know they close at 4:30, but sometimes they are weird about these things.

Also, is a driver's license enough for ID???? It looks like it on their website.

Thanks

I got mine there. We were on line for 1 and 1/2 hours. We got there at 11 am and left at 12:30pm. If you are in the door before 4:30pm you will be fine. Driver's license is all you need. That is all I had. it's a $35 money order only!

Yeah. It was so bizarre...we went on my birthday, Aug. 7th, which was a Tuesday!! Big day for marriage licenses!! I don't think it's that long all the time...just bad luck for us!

I think it is in Kew Gardens. If you look on thier website it will tell you the address.

It's right off the E train and we went first thing in the morning and were in and out....good luck!

I was JUST asking about this earlier today. I thought it would be fun to go to the one in Manhattan near city hall, but some girls said it wasn't worth it. I'm in walking distance from the one in Queens, so I might just go there.
You can take the E or F to Union Turnpike, or the LIRR to Kew Gardens.

We got ours there in literally 15 minutes...be there before 9am...nobody goes there during mid-day...you'll be in line forever.

This might be a stupid question-- but can I get my marriage license in Queens if I am getting married in Suffolk? It doesn't make a difference right?

Nope, I don't think it matters.
