Has anyone had 2nd Thoughts

About the dress they bought - Some days I love it other days I am not so sure how I feel -

Yes, yes, and yes! So many times. I got my dress in 07 so I've had a lot of time to 'rethink' it. I spent so much money on my gown, that I kept saying no matter what I have to wear that gown. I've looked at other dresses (I feel guilty about it). This past weekend was the 1st weekend I tried it on with the veil and the shoes...and surprisingly, I love it all over again. I think you have to be happy with the gown you are wearing on that day.

Yeup...I do all the time, one minute I hate it and I want to cry, and the next I see my self walking down the isle in it lol

It's kind of nuts, but I can't change it, so what can I do?

I haven't bought my dress yet, but there is this one dress that i love but i just don't know how i feel about it on ME!! But i dont know maye its just because its not the right color....LOL

I think it is because I ordered in August and haven't seen or worn it since - Hopefully I will feel that way again once it comes in - I Hope

Trust me its completely normal. When it comes in and you try it on you will fall in love all over again. I remember feeling this way too, until I got back in it. Now that Iam married, I miss it and i want to wear it again!! LOL.. And I will cause we are doing a day After shoot!

i am sorry to say that i have not...BUT I just wanted to leave this comment.
It is completey natural to feel that way. this is a big deal...I also must say that i looked in your profile and you are a beautiful girl..and your dress is absolutely magnificent! It is every bit the WOW bridal dress that I think every guest wants to see! i know some girls prefer simple non poofy gowns but IMO...there is nothing like seeing a bride walk out for the first time in a dress that truly makes her princess for a day...

OMG I posted last week that in my head the dress was sooo ivory it was almost yellow. Well after my final fitting on Tuesday...UMMM...it's so not yellow! hahaha. It's actually very light ivory and I fell inlove with it 100 times over again! It's so funny how our minds play tricks on us and make us second guess things....

I have because I had always thought I'd get somethign completely different than I did. But when I have second thoughts, I just try it on and remember how I felt the first time and then all is well again.

Thank You So Much That was incredibly nice of you.. You are right about the simple vs. the poof and I know my FH really wants a Wedding Gown

yes...but thats because there are so many images and other brides...but I am so happy I stayed with my dress....I loved how it all came
to gether the ay of our wedding!

yep all the time i LOVE wedding dresses and wish i could wear 10 of them hahahaha

last time i put it on at my third fitting i was very happy - it was the first time wearing it that i felt like wow i am getting married soon!

i think a lot of us feel this way, its a long time to still love the dress, this site has SO MANY gorgeous brides, and there is a lot of pressure to look good.....dont worry!

My advice is to stay away from those pages in the bridal mags! While I sometimes see dresses that are gorgeous, I know I made the right choice and I'm sure you did too. Stick to your first instinct, it's usually the right one! What does your mom think?

I think it's totally normal to have 2nd thoughts. You love it when it's on, then forget about it b/c you don't see it for months at a time. I'm sure it'll be perfect, so don't worry about it! You'll love it even more next time you put it on and it's tailored to exactly fit you!
