I had a very bad dream yesterday that time had fast forwarded 2.5 months and it was my wedding day but I was totally unprepared!
There was 2 hours to go before the ceremony starts and I still haven't selected my centerpieces, hadn't done my makeup, had no flowergirl dresses, etc.! And we came to the hall totally frazzled and stressed!
The dream was so real 'cus it took place my reception and in color! I couldn't believe this was happening so I willed myself to wakeup! Arghhh!
Has anyone had this dream before? What does this mean?

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
I've had the same kind of dream. I can't get ready, I forgot to pick up my dress, the limo is late and my hair isn't done.
It was a terrible nightmare.

I walked down the aisle in a nightgown in many nightmares while everyone pointed and laughed.
A lot of women have said they had them, but I'd like to hear what they were specifically. Some of them were funny.

I've had one where there are no chairs at the ceremony or the reception. I've had another one where it's a few minbutes before the wedding and no one can find my dress and I have no make-up and only mom mom's hair is done.

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
i posted this somewhere else too but. . .
i had a dream that i wanted to get a good shave for my wedding day so i let my under arm hair grow out really long. . . but the day of the wedding came and i forgot to shave so i had this long hair - and i didnt realize it until i was walking down the aisle
so the entire ceremony for some reason involved me lifting my arms up over my head
so after i made the limo go to like a pharmacy and get me a razor but everytime i tried to shave someone would need me to do something and i couldnt get to it
I've heard that all brides have crazy dreams before their wedding.
Ever since I got engaged I've had some. A few weeks ago I dreamt that I didn't have my officiant, which was the only vendor that I had left to book. Well, now he's book, I wonder what my next bad dream will be....

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
haha i just worte a post about this the other day - i had a dream that I was wearing a horrible 80s gown (you know - lots and lost of puff) There were only like 10 people in the church and they weren't listening and they all left early and then we didn't remeber a thing about our day. It's weird how we get these dreams.

i have the same type of dream, with a few things different.
i wonder if there has been a study on this, b/c it is pretty common.

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
I had a horrible dream that I woke up and it was the time for my wedding to start. I had no dress and no wedding ring (FH bought my wedding band when he bought my ering).
So I go to a jewlery store in my undergarments and start shopping (like bodice and tooling). Everyone is rude. Then I go downstairs to buy a dress (what, all jewlery stores dont have secret bridal gown shops in the basement). All of the dresses are to small or like 80's prom dresses.
I end up going to the wedding (after a proper amount of Bridzilla-ing my MOH) and i am 2and a half hours late. John wont look at me and then I wake up.

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
i've had too many to count! and they started about a year ago. they range from me not having a dress, to flowers being wrong, to bridesmaids turning against their dresses and showing up at wedding without them....

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
I had one right after I was engaged. It was about the photographers camera being broke and went all 'Bridezilla' crazy on him and my family was saying prayers that I would get through the day! Then when I woke up I laid in bed for a minute and said to myself 'Thank god it was only a dream!' and I got so happy because I was convinced that my wedding was the next day. Then reality hit me and I REALLY woke up and realized I had just got engaged and I had to wait another 2 years before my day came!
I have to say that first minute when I thought it was the day before the BIG day was a FABULOUS moment!

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
OMG i just remembered another one that i had right when i booked JT
The guy we booked with PROMISED me two things. . .( this is in real life) that they would still be decorated for christmas AND that I could take a picture in the Dome room before any wedding started there ( i am in the skylight room)
SO in my dream: i am about to go in the dome room and i start whispering about it bc i am so excited - but then the dome room bride hears me and she is like 'SHE CANT USE MY ROOM!' and i try to explain it is only for one picture and she is like its not my fault you picked the ugly room! So she starts screaming at me and i start crying HYSTERICALLY!!!!!!!! like sobbing like a baby - so i turn to my mom and FH and basically my whole bridal party. . . .and they are like 'if you had just kept your mouth shut she wouldnt have known a thing' so for the rest of the dream i was trying to sneak into the room , and my whole family was SO mad at me for ruining everything, and the bride didnt even go in her reception - she just stood outside the door so i couldnt get in!
IT WAS HORRIBLE!

Re: Has Anyone Had Bad Dream About Wedding Day?
I think it is normal, I have had similiar dreams in the past. such as, missing the ceremony and reception, not having a bra for my dress, so I had to wear a black one that you could see through the dress! I guess it's just the pressure of it all, and our brains response to it all.
