Has ANYONE heard of.... (bhb repost)

D a ma li N Y C for makeup?? my rh recommends it and ive seen pics on their site that look nice but ive searched here and the internet and no reviews which made me skeptical

I have actually. They are like a few different artists I think. They came recommended to me by a venue I was going to use for my engagement party. I have never seen their work personally but the girl I spoke to said they were pretty good. They do a lot of celebs it looks like from their web site.

yeah thats what i saw but i havent been able to find any reviews ANYWHERE, and its not like their cheap that i can just do the trial and see so i wanted to find out a bit more, but at least someone other than me has actually heard of them!! lol

make up alone is for the bride is $350 and the trial is 125!!!!!!

That is expensive that's a tough choice. If you get 75 off does it apply to the trial also? Or only if you book?

i knowwww!!! i think the discount only applies when you book, id still have to pay full for the trial grrrrr!!!

no i know, i would just like to spend with the intent on booking lolol 125 for a trial is a lot i think, i dont really mind paying for day of, but since there no reviews id have to go for a trial which i seriously annoying cuz what if they actually suck! lolol

Well, when I don't want to use my money for something, I usually just ask FH to 'borrow' the money He never really gets it back, but to me it's like getting something for free. I hate that they charge you for a trial. Don't they want YOUR business. It should be minimal or free in my opinion.

you should still check them out. i mean just because there are no reviews on a particular vendor doesnt necessarily mean they are not good. there are alot of vendors out there that go un noticed that do a fantastic job! so dont be so sceptical bout it just give it a try you may rend up really liking them

That's true, I didn't even think of that I guess people can be kind cunning! I hate it when my fh catches on to one of my 'scams'. It means I have to think of a whole new one! LOL
