Got my MLS in Library and Inforamation Science and I work in a law firm now providing legal and securities information to attorneys.
I like the idea of providing or showing information to people.
But I graduated college during the recession of the early 90's and it was hard to find a job.

I was a HS social studies teacher for 6 years and I recently went into counseling (drug and violence...not academic)...and am working on my MLIS for school media

I was HS social Studies too. But not F/T (more covering for maternity leaves and stuff)

I taught elementary school for awhile. Now I am in property management. Don't know why-I just fell into it!!! I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up but would love to return to teaching one day.

Im actually thinking about going back to school and do guidance couseling. It is still in the school prefession, but not a teacher![]()

I have taught middle school and high school for the last 9 years. It is the only career I have had. I am only 30 and am beginning to burn out. I love the kids I work with but am tired and beginning to not like my job. I was thinking of going into Real estate.

I was close to going into real estate and the guy told me the biggest field that people leave to go into RE is teaching...he told me the reason - but I can't remember right now...

Yes, I had a psychology degree and was a third grade for a few years right out of school.
I wanted to try something new and ended up in the world of Training and Development. I am a training and development specialist. I do instructional design (write and design training curriculum). I am currenlty building a brand new curriculum for a new company we acquired. I do everything from determine needs, create the curriculum and training, to the followup evaluation.
