If so, did you have to pay the whole thing up front or pay half when you order and the rest when you pick it up?
burtons? is that the same place as bridal elegance?
You pay 1/2 & then you pay the rest before they start the alterations.
I ordered mine from Burtons and we had to pay half and then she said we had to pay the remainder before my fittings

Do you know how much alterations are? Do they cap them? Do you know how long Private label takes to come in? Sorry so many questions, these are things i forgot to ask.

My dress is a Private Label gown and they told me that it would take bet. 6-9 months to come in.
There is a cap on the alterations but I completely forgot what it was

I got my dress, and all the BMs dresses there... BM alterations cap at $45.... For the gown, I'm not sure if there was a 'cap', I remember asking and they said it's usually between $120 - $160 depending on the work. I believe they only charge for the bustle and hem, any other work that needs to be done is not extra.
Mine totaled somewhere around $150 (can't remember off the top of my head), which is awesome compared to other places.
they only charge for a hem & a bustle. All body work is free. I only paid $100 for my bustle. I had both a regular bustle & a french bustle because of the style of my dress. My dress came in 3 lengths & the length we ordered was perfect, so I did not need it hemmed.
