Has anyone out there used Elena for hair and make-up

I know I read a review on her - but it was a while back - has anyone used her? Please let me know - She stays with you for part of the day...

I am going for a trial with her on 4/1. I was recommended to her from someone on this site. She seemed great when I spoke to her but I'll let you know how it goes afterwards?? Are you going to go for a trial as well?

Went for a trial....

I went for a trial and although I ultimately decided not to use her, I would recommend her depending on what you want. I rarely wear make up, and after having her, and another makeup artist do trials, I decided I'd be most comfortable doing my own. I just didn't like the results when someone else did it. As for the hair, I want just a bit of curl in my long hair and I'll be wearing it down. The style she did was just to stiff and sprayed for me. She did offer to try other styles, but since I live in Boston, it's not easy to arrange trials. Again, I decided to do my own hair. I did see another girl leaving with a very nice up-do, piled high with curls and saw several nice photos of up-do's. If that's what you want I'd definately suggest a trial. She does stay with you through the first dance, to make sure your hair and makeup are in good shape for photos.

Thank you for that feedback! I also dont like to wear alot of make-up on a regular basis but I guess i'll go for the trial anyway. Cant hurt, right??
