Re: has anyone planned
I planned a 25 person bridal shower for my cousin - although the place I booked can fit up to 50. I payed 20 + tax and grat (Eleanor Rigby's in Mineola)

If you're on a budget, check out Jonathan's in Garden City. Prices are reasonable and the food is great there.

Do you think your BP can help pay? I am a BM for one of my friends and we all split the cost equally. Between 9 girls it was about 200 a girl. I think about 50 people attended. I think it was $26 a person but with tax and gratuity, favors, prizes etc. it came to about $1800. The cake and punch was included. This was at Paddys Loft in Mass. You should have your MOH plan it and ask your BM to make contributions, even if they do this instead of giving a gift. You shouldn't have to pay for all of it :(

Boo that stinks Do you think maybe your bridal party, or just your maid of honor could help you a little bit? I'm not sure where your location is but we are hosting our rehearsal dinner (which is about 50 people ) at the Lucky Duck in Garden City South. It's our favorite restaurant - the food is so good and the people are really nice! We haven't booked it yet so I can't tell you what I'll be paying per person but we've been there for dinner a bunch of times and their prices were really reasonable. FM me if you want any more info on the place - good luck planning

My friend had hers at La Piazza in Merrick and it was very delicious and under $20 a person.

Re: has anyone planned
well no one said it had to be in a restaurant, what about planning it in the spring when you can do something outdoors, maybe get some food catered or have a pot luck?
