Has anyone received this favor before?

Does it work or is it just pretty?

I have one from a wedding. I don't use it because I don't like heart shaped things at my age (sorry - I know some people do - I just dont' like heart shaped things any more) I also think the male guests wouldn't use it.

I'm not a big heart person either so I am using these as part of my favors instead.

To answer your question, yes they do work.

i wanted to do this because i use them myself but i have received it from 2 different weddings recently... my parents have received it a number of times

but the good hing is that peple use them

YAY! no hearts! I don't like things with hearts either. I feel bad for sayign it on here all the time, but it rules out a lot of invites & favors.

I have a heart shaped mikasa bottle stopper that was a gift- it works.

Yes, my brother and SIL gave them out at their wedding as favors.

I received one at an e-party and maybe it was the one I got, but it did not suction nicely.

I used that as one of my favors and it was a big hit. All my family though are big wine drinkers and I have seen them use it at every relatives house I've been to since the wedding.

If you don't like the hearts they have other options for the top that are really cute too.

I like it...a close friend of mine is doing the same thing...with the heart. Hey whatever favors you decide on some people will use it some will not there is no way around that. Go with what makes you happy.

I have one forma wedding and I use it. Suction's not great, but I think it's pretty and use it anyway.

I got two with this funky design on top. It works pretty well if the bottle sits upright, but then it doesn't fit in the fridge so you need to screw off the top. I thought it was a pretty cool favor though.

I have received a Mikasa wine stopper before (not heart shaped). I used it quite often actually but have to agree with others about losing the heart (that I wouldn't use I don't think). Someone had a good point - guys definitely won't use it. These seem to have become popular favors.
