I was peeking at my registry at Crate and Barrel. A few items were listed as:
Want 0 Has 1
I know that I didn't put them on. I was thinking that perhaps when items were bought off the registry that the person made a personal purchase and somehow it appeared on my registry.

that happens on bb&b also...
edit your registry and delete the item. that's what i do when that happens.

It means that it wasn't on your original registry, but that someone purchased it for you. They scan your registry and then the item, so in case you want to return it, you don't need a receipt.

Someone may have bought you something that was not on your registry. This happened with me. For my shower, one of my mom's friends made me a huge basket of stuff, each item starting with a different letter of the alphabet. I didn't register for everything she bought, but those items appeared on my registry after she bought them. There's nothing you can do about it since the person already bought the item, but if you don't like it, you can always return it.

That was on my registry. That happens when someone purchases an item that you didn't register for but they took your registry to the cashier.

Same thing happened with me...for an engagement gift. I thought it was strange at first too.

yep, that's what it is. My FMIL also changed our registry for us when say someone bought our china somewhere other than BB&B where we are registered so that we didn't get too much of anything
