I was just wondering how much anyone has kept in contact with their reception halls? I called in august to finish my payments and that is about it. For the most part i have not spoken to them. i guess the real stuff does not begin until 2 months before the wedding. I was just wondering what everyone else's input was.
I have called a couple of times just to ask a few questions. Other then that I have not had a conversation with the hall.
I heard from my other friends that are already married that the next time to see them after the final payment is two weeks before the wedding to pick menu & linens and give them your table seating charts.
I guess i am just starting to feel a little edgey.. Of course I am thinking of everything coming all at once. i have to buy my shoes next week, order flower girl dresses, finish the address list for the calligraphers, the list just goes on and on... I need to buy the veil and headpiece.. I am going for a make up and hair trial in the next 2 weeks. everything is just really happening so much right now and i guess i feel like i should be speaking to the reception hall more than i have. But there is really not much to do right now with them.
I have spoken to my hall a couple of times with a few questions and I have been at the hall to see them a few times since I booked it to show other people the hall.
I was at my hall like FOUR time this summer just to show it off to family and stuff but i have not called or been since then we have to go in January for a pretty decent a size payment and then nothign til a few montsh before i guess.
