I am getting married at my hall, so I won't be having a rehearsal, but my reverend contacted me and said we can do a dinner and she will take 15mins and go over everything. Anyone start thinking about this yet???

You have a lot of time.....When we booked ours in Feb '06 for our wedding in July '06 they told us we were so early
I'm getting married at the hall too. I'm only having a MOH and a BM. Possibly 2 little flower girls. I have a huge yard so I just figured if the weather was nice we could all get together for a BBQ. I don't think I'm doing the dinner route.

No I haven't and I don't plan to for a while. The RD is going to be so low keys for us. Yes a nice dinner but no invite and such!

hopefully FH and I will have a house before our wedding, so we were probalby just going to have a BBQ at our new home.

I am not planning on doing that until 2-3 months before. I am getting married at my hall as well and the rehearsal will most likely be a Wed or Thurs night. I don't think I will have a problem finding a place.

Unfortunealty I don't really think I can have one!!! A bunch of my BP is out-of-state...PA or upstate NY, and will prob be spending Thanksgiving and the day after w/ their family...I don't want to ask people to leave their fam. earlier than they plan.

It may be a little early but I'm trying to get an idea of where is the best central location for everyone..what has great food, ambiance...blah blah blah. we'll probably go somewhere in bay ridge or just in that area!!!!

I actually have an appointment at a restaurant next weekend. My FMIL has been kinda psyched about it and I only get to LI like once a month so I told her Id do some investigating this visit

I think we are going to have a sit down dinner at a restaurant that I use a few times a year for my fire department dinners. He said he will take care of us.

I just started looking now, since our wedding is in December, I figured it's better to book early because of holiday parties.
I wish I was getting married in the springtime and I'd just get a tent and have a barbeque!
