We booked them for our wedding night, and I'm staying there the night before with my mom and some BMs.
Is it nice?

Re: Has anyone stayed at Danford's?
We booked rooms there for our guests. I live near Port Jeff, so I've been there before (I've never stayed there though). I took my fiance to see it the other night and it's already done up for Christmas with the fireplace going. Very cozy. It's very old-fasioned hotel-like.
We'll be staying there for our weddding night, too.

Re: Has anyone stayed at Danford's?
We stayed on oor wedding night and it was HORRIBLE! The AC didn't work, there were flies in the room and no champagne as promised. No one helped us with our bags, I had to lug bags in my wedding gown across ti thr room. I wrote them a nasty letter and we got half the money back and brunch for 2. Still didn't make up for the horrible wedding night experience. Sorry to be a bummer.

We had the same problem as Cutie , poor service , no champange, and the room was a mess when we got back after the wedding.

Oh boy - thanks for being honest. Now what can I do? I already gave them my credit card and signed a contract.
Can I tell them I heard bad things and I'm worried?

Normally you can cancelle up to 24 or 48 hours before you are to check in.If your truley set on staying there I would call them and let them know you have some concerns. That may make them a little more attentive. Good Luck

I definitely would call them and make sure your concerns are addressed because I am sure that they are not cheap and that kind of service should not be tolerated. I was thinking about having my rehersal dinner there and I will definitely express these concerns to them. Good luck
