FH and I are in need of a mini vacation.. we want to go to Mohegan Sun on Saturday night. Does anyone know any hotels around there that are nice (besides Mohegan Sun they are sold out). ?? Thanks

what about staying at a hotel in mystic? you can add a little more to your vacation that way. DH and I stayed at the Days Inn in Mystic (there are fancier hotels there too...) and drove to both mohegan sun and foxwoods.

I stayed in Mystic as well at the Resident's Inn Marriot. Very nice hotel! And Mystic is beautiful and a fun little town! Very close to both Mohegan and Fox Woods.

fh and I have gone twice for mini vacations there and stayed at the same place both times, a bed and breakfast thats 10-15 minutes from both mohegan sun and and foxwoods. The owners are sweet and the food is wonderful! Here's their website Roseledge the pictures don't nearly do it justice, and make sure to get the John Meech room( it's the best one!)

Have you looked into Foxwoods or are you set on Mohegan Sun? They may also be booked considering it's a holiday weekend but there's a hotel affiliated with them also called the Two trees Inn and it's very nice, there's a shuttle 24/7 that is a 5 minute ride to the casino.
