Has anyone stayed in Cancun

If you have gone to Cancun can you please recommend a resort to stay in. It will be our first time there and want to make sure that it is everything you could ever want.

Sorry I havent stayed there but our travel agent highly recommended the all inclusive Secrets Resort there. Heres the site if you want to check it out.

Fiesta AMericana..... amazing hotel... there are 2 there, I stayed at the bigger one..... I forget the name but it was amazing.... worth the money!

Grand Oasis three years ago and it was all inclusive and amazing!!!!!!!

i have been there 4 times lol
i stayed at the krystal(2 times),mirimar mission,continental villas

they hyatt next to krystal is really nice

I stayed at the Hyatt once, which was nice. The other time I stayed at the Oasis for college spring break- and unless you're in the mood for a million spring breakers, don't stay there.

We stayed at the Cancun Palace. All of the Palace Resorts in Cancun are beautiful. It was our best vacation yet! Take a look.

I stayed at the Moon Palace Sunrise a few years ago. We really liked it. I think there is a jacuzzi in every bedroom (like right next to the bed), there was a gorgeous marble shower and a hamock on the balcony. It's all inclusive. Oh, it's south of Cancun though, the Riviera Maya part I think. They have sister resorts that they will shuttle you to, and two of those are in downtown Cancun (but not as nice in my opinion). They also have this great huge winding pool with swim up bars and they have some cayaking and water bike things and a mini golf course. My fiance didn't think the beach part was that great, but I just liked sitting by the pool. Included in the price were a massage and a manicure for each of us I think. And two tours to different ruins!

I second that place! I was single when I went but recommend that place. It was beautiful and it was very accommodating.

Me too! It was a fabulous place! I think it was Fiesta Americana Condessa Cancun.

We stayed here also and loved it!! The good thing is u can take teh shuttle to all of the palace resorts for free.. The only thing that was a pain was that the beach at the moon palace isnt the best for swimming, so we would to to teh other resorts for the beach but the pool at the moon palace is amazing!

i have been there twice...once in the summer and once during spring break

are you going there on a honeymoon????
it wa slike young kids on spring both times
we stayed at the OASIS once and the hilton and hyatt the other times

I just want to thank everyone for their input. We are considering going on our honeymoon. I dont think we really have to worry about spring breakers because we are getting married on Dec 3rd and everyone is still in school. The travel agent recommended we stay at the moon palace but i have been reading some bad post about the beach there so i was looking to see where everyone else has stayed. It is the first time my fiance and I will be traveling there.

We travel alot and we are not the type of people to sit still for long. We orginally were planning on going to Punta Cana but did not like the fact you were stuck in your resort.

For a honeymoon, I think you should stay at a more luxury hotel. My honey and I will be staying at the JW Marriott and Spa Hotel. Even though it's Marriott, it's on the same level as the Ritz and Le Meridien. However, it's not all-inclusive (food and drinks included).

For an all-inclusive location, a lot of honeymooners speak highly of Royal Hideaway, which is located in Playa del Carmen - an area south of Cancun central which is quieter and more remote.

We opted for JW Marriott because we did not want an all-inclusive (we don't really drink and we like trying all kinds of food) and also, JW is located in the Hotel Zone but in the more Southern part (so it's more quiet).

We stayed at the Oasis Cancun. I didn't love it, I felt it was more for younger people (18ish)

I stayed there for spring break a few years ago and loved it. I second Cancun Palace. THe food and sevice was out of this world.
