I was watching 'The Secret Lives of Women' last night on WE tv and they had a wife and mother that teaches pole dancing / strip tease class to other women. I thought it was interesting, seems like something fun for a girls night get together.

I haven't, but I always wanted to. I wish I could get a group of my friends together..they all say they want to ..but when it comes down to making official plans everyone has an excuse. I think it would be so much fun. I'd prob be laughing at myself the whole time!

A few of my girlfriends wanted to but we never got around to it...great upper body workout!!!!

i did it as part of my friend's bachelorette party in albany over the summer. it was really fun! as far as using my moves when i got home, i think i needed a few more lessons, lol.
one of the girls went home to her bf and did a sexy dance, to which he replied, 'are you sure you're doing that right?'

That sounds like Doug from 'King of Queens' when he was watching Carrie do it. Then he just couldn't take it anymore and showed her how it's done. COMEDY!!!!

def recommend doing it with a group of girls you know and like. when i went, most of the girls in the room were friends of mine on some level. there were these girls whom the bachelorette knew from her knitting circle or something, and THEY were self-conscious, so they made fun of everyone, exchanging little, catty whispers as if those of us 3 feet away couldn't hear. def spoiled it a bit. try to get a private class and make it a girls' night out or something!
