What their dress looks like?

I want Ron's imput of what he likes and doesn't since its him that I want to please the most!

No you should surprise him. You can show him some magazines and show him some dresses to see his reaction to them but don't show him the dress you want.

I haven't. In fact I deleted the referance to the site on my home pc, and now the site has changed, and I have no pictures - my bad luck

Lenny wen't through the wedding mag pictures with me and then helped me pick the final dress selection.

But I had no problem with that.

I didn't - I totally wanted to surprise him and he loved it. I actually left pictures of other dresses from mags out to surprise him. After the wedding I showed him pictures of other dresses I was considering and he said I made the right choice.

T - I'm exactly the same with FH...I would show him pictures - do you like this? what do you think about that? I would have brought him with me if anyone would let me! It's very important to me that he like my gown. He's seen the picture of it but I never actually said 'this is my gown' but I know he likes it!

Brian has an idea of the style i want. i went dress shopping on saturday and when he came home from work he asked me how it went, what did i try on, what did i like, etc...

i told him i like one particular style and he smiled. he said no matter what i wear i'll be stunning the day of the wedding.

but when i have picked my actual dress i am not telling him. he wont know anything

I haven't told him what it looks like, but I did ask him what he would like to see me in before I went shopping. Didn't help much because what he would have liked, looked horrible on me!

Just get what looks good on you sweety...he'll be floored either way!

My fiance messes with my all the time by saying 'rhinestones'. he knows that there are rhinestones on the dress so he thinks that means he knows everything.

I have shown him a few pictures of different dresses to see what he likes and he always says 'the simpler the better - I don't want anything to take away from how beautiful you are.' How sweet is that? But I always harrass him at every wedding we go to if he liked the brides dress etc. I think he knows it will be strapless and simple but as someone said before, no matter what you have on, I'm sure you'll wow him.

John has been around when I tell other people, but he really has NO idea what I'm saying when I talk about it.... wedding gown talk is like gibberish to him...

Yep he saw a picture.

Before I bought my dress we would look through magazines b/c I wanted him to show me what he likes. He does NOT like big dresses at all so I showed him the picture before I bought it to see what he thought and he liked it!!!

I agree it is nice to surprise him but I knew how picky he was so I chose to have his opinion instead. I KNOW it will look very different on me and in person (with different veil and stuff) so I don't regret showing him at all

NO! However one time I had him flip through a magazing with me and had him tell ME what which ones he liked and disliked. This was a way of him giving me input on the dress without seeing it.

I had found one dress and was going to order it. I wanted his opinion on it, so I showed him the ad.

My sister insisted that I had to go to a few other salons and I ended up finding another gown. I decided not show him this time. Believe me...it's killing me! I value his opinion greatly and I'm dying to get his .02!!!

I now find out that he does not like poufy dresses, which mine is

Hopefully when he sees me in it, his thoughts will change.

Nope. He doesn't want to know either. I was looking threw a magazine and was showing him a few gowns and he told me not to show him any, he didn't want to know anything about what it looks like!

when I first picked my dress I used to tease him by not showing him the picture - he became very familiar with the hideous dress on the other side of the magazine page

But after a few months I actully tried to show him my dress and he refused to look at it. He wanted to be surprised.
