Hydroxycut, Trim Spa, etc? The ephedra free stuff. I am desperate. I am doing WW, low carb, exercise and it is not working. As soon as I move to my new apt in August I will be a walking maniac (I love walking) but I need to jump start this weight loss - I have 3 months to go.
Anyone had any luck with these?

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
I am scared to try those but I feel like nothing is working. I admit I was totally off WW last week. If I had health ins. I would go to a nutritionist and get a physical. I'll take a look at the site. How much weight did you lose before your wedding?

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
I lost 15 pounds before the wedding... I think I've gained back around 5!!! I was really careful with my carbs- so white flour or bread of any kind except wasa crackers- no sugar either.

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
It's really not that hard- after the 1st week the sugar is out of your system & you don't crave it anymore.
You can get the wasa crackers in the supermarket... you want as high fiber as you can get.

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
you're right, it's the first week that is the killer. I think I will join you and Kate
how is this for lunch: salad with tomatos and cucumbers, fat free dressing?
ETS: should I throw in some beans for protein?

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
that is fine- but usually the fat free dressing has added sugar- stick with regular vinegar and olive oil- olive oil is good for you anyway..
be careful of tomatoes- they have sugar- so eat them in moderation.
no beans for the first few weeks- I would stick with lean meats for protein source...

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
When you move we will TOTALLY go walking- it's a nice walk from my neighborhood over to Hamilton Park- I'll keep you out of the sketchy areas.
Also- hard boiled eggs, a slice of bacon, a little bit of cheese- those are all great salad throw ins.

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
Yay! I can't wait to move...any day now we will find a place - I can feel it!
Bacon and cheese are ok - not too fattening?

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
You don't count fat, but you DO watch your nitrates- so really shouldn't eat too much bacon- I try not to eat more than 2-3 slices a week.. although last night I had 2 hotdogs so I should talk....
I like to eat a 2 eggwhite and 1 whole egg omelet with 1 slice of cheddar and some peppers & onions mixed in.

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
I used hydroxycut but dont recommend it it says take w/out food but it made me want to throw up so my trainer told me to ignore that and take w/ a meal I did lose ten lbs really quickly but it can be done by watching what you eat and exercise
plus, when u stop you are tired! for quite a while

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
don't start taking those pills. I used to take them, and I got charlie horses everyday, plus, you can get addicted to theat feeling they give you. They can make you irritable, and shaky.
When you stop, whatever you lost gets put back on because it fools your metabolism.
they're also $$$$

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
I am not going to take them I had a fleeting moment of being desperate! It's not worth risking my health.
Ok so for lunch I had: Mixed greens with grilled chicken, cucumber, a light sprinkling of cheese, and low fat balsamic vinegarette.
How was that?
Oh and of course, good old H2O!

Re: has anyone tried any of these:
I tried Trim Spa and found that it did cut my appetite BUT it also made me 'speed' at night. I had a hard time sleeping on it, so I had to cut my dose to onlu one in the morning and another with lunch. I also would warn you though... for me, eating isn't about being *hungry* most of the time, it's just about liking food or being social. If that describes you at all, then these pills won't really work.
