Has anyone used Bill Levkoff BM dress #557?
I'm almost positive that this is the dress we're using... but I'm just feeling a little unsure about the fabric. Has anyone used any tissue taffeta dresses? How do they look in pictures?
If you've used this dress or this fabric... please let me know what you thought of it, and please post pics!
I love this dress in satin also, but I'm afraid my girls will be too hot in July!

I'm looking for pics of this exact same dress!! I might swap the colors though (sable dress w/ a camel sash).
A very helpful LIW'er pointed out that there's a clip of this dress (I think it was in silver though), on the Bellarino videography website (go to the list of video vendors, click on their website, and then click on the bride w/ a tear coming down her face- you'll have to watch almost the whole thing- it's 5 minutes, but there's a clip of her BM's wearing this dress on the dance floor).

I am going with tissue taffeta also, i think it's style 300. Ver similar to the one you posted, but with a fuller bottom with pickups. I was thinkng about the nice lightweight of the fabric, too. I didn/t even think of the pictures...I would love to see pics that others have used, too! I think it will be fine/

This dress was the fave of all my BM's mostly because of the fabric, but I wanted a darker color to contrast against the white of my dress in pictures. We're going with #966 which is the same but satin so we can get two shades of blue.
For some reason, this dress only comes in a few colors in the taffeta and the only dark ones dont really have great choices for the sash color. I'm mad at Bill ..... but I'm still gonna order the dress in satin.

My girls are wearing the satin in July-I think its fine for summer I happen to think the satin is a nicer fabric then taffeta, IMO.....

Beautiful!! I happen to like the one on the right, I guess b/c the lighter sash would really stand out.
I love the way satin looks, but I'll probably be going w/ the taffeta- I want it in chocolate brown I think it will be beautiful in that color. Also, I think satin is a less forgiving fabric than taffeta is.

i was in a wedding (Pics in Mrsr72806's album) and we wore that style in July. I was a little hot, but it was july. Not uncomfortable at all!

what color were you planning on using in the taffeta?
