Has anyone used Designer Limo's

I've just begun looking at Limos and my Brother-in-law-to-be recommended them. Any comments.
What is the common ride? From the house to the ceremony and then to the rehearsal?
Does everyone go home on their own including the bride & groom?????

First of all, welcome to the boards
I am using Designer Limos. We got two Lincoln 12 passenger limos. They gave us a great rate, they are picking up FH and his men at his aunt's house and me and my enterage at FIL's house then after the ceremony they are taking just me and FH out for a while.

My daughter used Designer. We were disappointed, although their prices were pretty good and the limos were clean. I'm not out to bash anyone. I just hope this helps someone else, regardless of which company you use.

One of the three limos was supposed to pick up the groom, the ushers and his Mom at 12:00. It arrived after 1. They got to church just a few minutes before the bride and the other limos.

They didn't know the directions from Old Westbury Gardens to the reception and they ignored what we were telling them. We were in the lead and everyone else followed. In the end we missed out on most of the cocktail hour.

I also blame the coordinator for the above. It was her job to confirm times and directions, although my daughter had already done it all.


And the absolute worse was the scene they made outside the church looking for someone to pay them. They went to a couple of the ushers who were the bride's brothers and to my husband asking for money. We still had over 3 hours with them. My husband was disgusted and told them they were being very tacky and to quit it. They would be paid at the appropriate time.

Edited to add: The ride depends upon what your needs are. Usually you need to get to church, then somewhere to take pictures if you do it away from the reception site, and then to the reception. The limos leave after that but they usually send a courtesy car to pick up the bride and groom from the reception. They also send a car to take them to the airport for their honeymoon the next day or the day after.
