Just ordered this product because I was up late and fell victim to Judith Light. Has anyone used this and how were the results? My skin is actually clear, but I suffer from the occasional breakout right before my period. Thanks!

Re: Has anyone used Proactive for their skin????
I have heard very good things about it.
Unfortulately it did not work for me. I've tried it all, and nothing has worked, but I have it more than just before my period.
If it doesn't work for you, save the empty bottles and return it to them, and you will get a refund.
Good Luck!

Re: Has anyone used Proactive for their skin????
I have used it and although it did make my skin very soft and smooth, it did nothing for any break outs. What I have found works, and some may laugh, is from the Home Shopping Network, they have a whole line of Serious Skin Care products that have worked for me since I was a teenager!

Worked for me. I have oily skin though.
Oh, and be careful what towels you use when you dry your face - the benzoyl peroxide will leave bleach spots on your towels.

I bought it after trying a million things. It does nothing. When I told my dermatologist, she laughed. She actually is friends with those two women who created it, and said it is a scam. Its no different than products you can buy at CVS.

Re: Has anyone used Proactive for their skin????
i believe my brother uses it...or he did ....he's in Kuwait now, so i don't think he has time for skin care.... but i'm sure once he gets home (whenever that may be) he'll use it again. he's been using it for years and it worked pretty well for him!!
maybe staying up late and watching infomercials worked out for once!!

My sister has used it and her skin cleared up ALOT, but once she stopped using it, her skin went back to be broken out.

Re: Has anyone used Proactive for their skin????
I have. And yes it is $$
BUT I turned the bottle over and it said '10% Benzoyl Peroxide'. SO I marched myself to Genovese and bought Clean N Clear Acne treatment face wash (the cream in the purple bottle). Does the SAME thing and it like $6 a bottle!!
I used it for years until my skin changed and it was too drying for me. (once i turned 25).

Re: Has anyone used Proactive for their skin????
I use it bc it makes my skin much less oily. If I stop using it I break out immediately so I think it works....

I had the same problem so I started using Kiehls and Creme de la mer(very expensive line but very worth it).

It's no difference from any other products on the shelf; however, the key is to have a daily regimen otherwise yo uwill not see results.

I think it works. You have to use it regularly though. It works best on pimples though. If you jave cystic acne (big bumps under your skin) it's best to see your dermatologist.

Re: Has anyone used Proactive for their skin????
I used it and it did nothing for my skin. The only thing it did was empty my pockets. I get bad acne flair ups around that time. Since I have been using this new product I have had very minimal break outs ever! I don't want to go against policy(Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose) but if you really want to know an awesome product let me know! Good luck what ever you decide. I know a few close friends that use it and they swear by it. Why not try it if you have the $$$$$! I know I have to try everything before I decide!

I tried it and had the same expercience as Kelly. My skin was soft, but it didn't help w/breakouts. I actually got it for my best friend also and it actually made her breakout more.
