Re: Has anyone used these florists???
i'm not using james cress. for me they were a bit pricey and very rude. wouldn't even let me pick out the flowers for MY wedding, or give a ballpark price range until i sat there for 2 hours. but it was probably just a one time occurence.. so don't go by what just i say.

I've heard great things about James Cress. They are a little pricey though.
Try Ken and Eva's in Brentwood. They are reasonably priced and my friend got her flowers there and she loved them.

Re: Has anyone used these florists???
Shoreham Florist was used in a wedding I was in last July. They were quite pricey. AND their flowers were dying before we even entered the church. small BM Bo-Ks. No church flowers. The bride was not pleased.
Overall I know I will not even consider them.
James Cress has a great Reputation but I know just from ordering regular occassion flowers they are very high priced.
Let me know if you find someone you like. I'll do the same.

One of my friends used James Cress for her wedding b/c one of her friends works there. Supposedly she got an awesome price. I found nothing impressive about her flowers. They were nice but nothing all that great that a less expensive florist couldn't do. JMO.

Re: Has anyone used these florists???
I know someone who used James Cress. I'm not sure what they paid, but their flowers were beautiful. I took home one of the CP and it lasted for a good 2 weeks- very fresh flowers. They are on the recommended vendor list for Flowerfield...so how bad could they be??
When I went to Flowerfield for a meeting, they did suggest that I deal with the owner's son if I have a lot of my own ideas- he will really work with you. They said if you have no idea what you want, work with the father- he's more set in his ways (less open to your ideas) but his ways are beautiful.
