Has anyone went for a hair trial WITHOUT having bought their veil/headpiece?

Because thats what I am doing next week!

Do you think that will be alright? I know I should have purchased it already, but I didnt!

I haven't had my hair trial yet but my hairdresser told me to bring my veil and headpiece to the trial. I think it makes sense to see how it will all look together.

I did two trials that way. It's much better if you bring them though but if you plan to do a second trial then it's fine.

I went for mine without my veil and headpiece. During the trials I wanted to make sure I got someone that I felt was talented and could work with my hair and get them booked. I used a headpiece and veil she had as a sample just to see where they would fall.

I did...but my hair is going to be all down and curled. I don't have my headpiece yet; my florist is making it out of silk flowers and i'll get it in 2 days...but I'm not worried. I can play with it on my own so the viel and the headpiece work together. I'm lucky though, my hair is so thick that I'm not worried abou the anchoring of the viel.

I did the same thing. Only, I went to the salon and tried on the sample dress with a veil. I went back for a second trial with my head piece and a borrowed veil.

Maybe call and ask the hair person if they have samples there to try out with your trial.

I'm going tomorrow without the headpiece or veils...but I don't see it being a problem at all..plus I wouldn't want to wrinkle the veil or hairspray the tiara before it needs to be..

I didn't have my veil yet at the time and knew I'd be using haripins, so she stuck in a few that she had on hand ...

I did an had no problems.
I pretty much knew I was going to have a headband type headpiece so my hair style doesn't have much to do with that.

I bought a veil and am looking for a tiara on Ebay just to see how it looks. If they go with my dress, great, if not, it isnt a big loss.

I did and it ended up saving me a ton of money. My hair looked so pretty that I decided to just use hair pins and no tiara.

Yes! i did - you just need an idea of whether you want to wear it high or low. They usually have one to play with!
