Told them they cant throw flower petals? Even FAKE ones? Im getting married methodist and they arent too happy with it?
Would I have someone clean it up afterwards? I have a CENTER AISLE! (yes, I switched it..needed the center) so its only down one aisle. ANyone experience this?
Also - they havent discussed cost with us. Weird?

Re: Has anyone's church...
i have heard of some churches saying this...They dont like it bc they say it stains the floors actually more if they have carpet i think. But yeah some dont allow flower petals, and some dont allow aisle runners

Re: Has anyone's church...
Our church says not to throw rose petals, rice, bird seed, etc. because they don't have anyone to clean it up. If we have someone to clean it up then we can do it.

Re: Has anyone's church...
yep we can't even throw them outside the church either because they said the oils in the petals can make people slip on the pavement
but yet it is okay to have bubbles doesnt that wet areas of the ground once they pop
i think it is mainly a clean up factor- no biggie bubbles it is

Re: Has anyone's church...
We're not allowed to throw anything, no aisle runner, no nothing b/c they 'don't have the staff to clean it up.' that includes inside AND outside.
ETS: the no aisle runner is b/c the floors are slippery and people apparently could fall
