Has David Tutera Gone Mad

Is it me.. or has this seasons weddings been extremely tacky and weird? More bar mitzvah than wedding!

Although I haven't watched this new season...I know the he has switched from doing Long Island/ New York weddings to weddings across the county and some of the were in Texas I believe...so it is probably a regional thing.

I was just talking to my FH about this! I feel like they are more like 'events' and 'shows' rather than weddings. I guess he is going with the 'thinking outside of the box' concept. Not a huge fan of them so far...I still don't hate them though!

ya i lost a lot of respect for him when he allowed the bride to wear a black dress and top hats for her ceremony and reception!

I was like ok, David you have LOST IT!!

but then he did the alice in wonderland wedding last night and he reprieved himself!

he definitely misses the mark sometimes

i hated that fashion show wedding. the wedding itself was gorgeous, but the runway?? the bride didn't even bat an eye at the groom!

He can't do simple traditional weddings anymore cause its 'boring' and he needs the ratings.. I liked it better when it was more relatable!!

It's what she wanted. It was her. I actually gained respect for him by listening to the bride's wishes and not just doing whatever he felt like doing.

I think that the reason he is doing things diffrently this season is that he is trying to stick with the origional plan of the brides more.

I dont know... a yellow brick road aisle... If it left it just flowers, it would have looked so much classier... a black dress and top hat... ewwww.

And the fashion show wedding... like was the groom even there??

Its out of control!

I only saw the Alice in wonderland one with the black dress and all the top hats......it wasn't even like a wedding anymore. It's too over the top. A sound stage??? The decor budget must have been insane!!
