Posts about her have been going on since before I booked with her (going on almost 3 years ago). She did me and my entire bridal party and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her.
She was professional, worked with me and my crazy schedule.
She and her team were wonderful the day day and I think they did an amazing job on everyone!

I am using her in June, and I am feeling good about my decision to stick with her. Her assistant's communications skills are awful, it's really hard to get her to be clear about the next steps. However, *** herself is fine and I haven't had any issues with her. I also have a relative who is friends with her, and I will admit, this has helped to ease any concerns I have.

I'm using her. I was suppose to have my trial last friday but she had to reschedule and now it's booked for April (booked without trial) and I'm very excited to use her.

my friends and my sis in law all used her and she was awesome.. we never had problems.. I looved the way she did my makeup both times I even wanted to use her for my wedding but since shes done my makeup so many times already and kinda pricey I went with someone else. But I have all good things to say about her:)

Honestly I had a trial with her and she was AWESOME, she truly has talent. I experienced having her on the phone and have read similar posts. I also didn't like that she bailed on people and/or showed up 3 hrs late. It just wasn't worth the risk for me so I cancelled with her.
She really was awesome, but I don't want any last minute surprises.

I had a similar experience. She was on the phone on and off during our trial...a bit annoying. She was also arguing with her assistant about scheduling issues for a wedding the following day. It just worried me. She also made a comment about wanting to raise her prices so less people book her. She's pricey to begin with...so it sort of turned me off. But I will say...she does good work.

From what I have heard from a few brides, everyone loves her work, no question there her talent is flawless. But her personality and professionalism are the problems.

For some reason it seems ALL hair and makeup vendors are terrible at communication!!!! Maybe they teach that somewhere?
No doubt most of them do great work, but I don't want to be stressing 2 days before my wedding that I haven't heard from my MU artist and wondering if she's going to show up. Communication is SO important!!!!

ITA, my hairstylist was amazing with communicating. I think M*I*A is amazingly talented, but--as someone who is intolerant to lateness--I didn't want to book M*I*A when so many reviews mentioned how late she was to their wedding prep. She is very talented though.

Not necessarily true. The ones I have now, Lola Loves Makeup and Mya are good at getting back to you. Andrea (L loves M) is extremely fast.

settle down guys...i know some are fine but i see a ton of girls complaining they don't hear back from their hair and makeup vendors, or they call/email for a price and it takes 2 weeks to get back.
