I want to say it was when I came back from my bachlorette. It hit me that I only had 2 weeks and still so much to get done. I went on panic mode and just slept, ate and breathed wedding stuff. I think I didnt even get on LIW those last two weeks because things were just so hectic.

I had a few little hits, then a 2 big hits.

When my mom picked me up on Thursday to go get our nails done, then we hung my dress up in the hotel.

When the hair and makeup people showed up

When the photogs came in and started snapping away

Then the first big moment was when I was standing behind the door waiting to walk up the aisle

then actually walking down the aisle

I was like you, Kim. I kept waiting to feel 'it' and it didn't really happy until that day!!!

it didnt hit me until I put on my gown.

I had it on and it was so different than having it on for fittings at the store. It made everything feel real.

This was it, what all the preparation was for. I felt like a bride and like the most beautiful woman in the world.

it didn't happen until my hair and make up were being done. my dad called me and he was all nervous on the phone, and that's when it really hit me.

It hit me when relatives started to arrive about 12 days before the wedding. His entire family lives in Europe so they came early to check out NYC. When they arrived, it hit me that these people would be MY family too in just a matter of days. I got excited, happy, scared, anxious... all at the same time.

It hasn't hit me yet either. I don't think it will until I am walking down the aisle. But, we have rehearsal tomorrow, so I think that might help it feel more real.

Re: Hasn't hit me still...What was your moment?

hahaha... my bestfriend was so funny with this. We had her rehearsal 2 days before her wedding and she kept saying that it still didn't feel 'real'. Then on the morning of the wedding, it still didn't really hit her until a little 'messenger' (one of the groomsmen) came over with a little gift from her husband-to-be. All of sudden she was balling, like 'Oh my God, I'm getting married!!' lol. She cracks me up. I was sooo excited for her, for it didn't hit ME either until she was actually walking down the aisle and i just BURST into tears!! lol.

I think it's gonna hit ME though as soon as I pick up FH from the airport (he lives out of state, but will be flying in a week before the wedding). That's gonna make it soo real. Without him here, it sometimes feels as though i'm preparing for an imaginative wedding

I still don't think it has hit me and I have been married since June! I feel like our wedding was so surreal and it was like a dream not reality.

Well, i think it has semi hit me. This weekend we went to a wedding and FH and I would always say that after this wedding it was us and we would be next...

During the bride & groom's 2nd dance, the way they were looking at eachother, I turned to FH and said 'Holy Crap we are next' and i think that is when it hit us both!

It didn't truly hit me until I put on my veil. Something about wearing that veil just made everything click into place. I can't really explain it more than that. Up until that moment, it was so surreal.

Now that it's over, sometimes, I can't believe that I am married and all the planning and preparations are done.

It hit me when Christine from EAP, my parents and I were all standing at the back of the church. The doors were closed and I heard 'hear comes the bride' I look at Christine and she said 'are you ready?' and I was like 'yes' WHOOOSH, the two big french doors opened up and it was SHOWTIME! LOL.... That's when it really hit me..

Same with me. Morning of the wedding once my hair, makeup was done and jewelry was on... then as my mom and MoH were lacing up my dress I saw myself as a 'bride' in the mirror and it finally hit me that I was getting married and I lost it!
