It looked so different when I got it done, then when I got home, I hate it... its jsut not me-- i hardly wear make up. Getting it done again. Suggestions? --- What do you think?
i'm sorry you had a bad experience with your makeup trial. maybe you should look for another make up artist. there are plenty of referrals on this site. definitely let them know what you're looking for, that way they don't overdo it. good luck.

try other vendors...If you are NOT 100% happy with the trial, DO NOT book the artist. Your pictures are gonna be the most important thing (besides F )...I went through a few trials (Im just NOT into makeup) then I met with Kacey from Khouloud's Beauty (vendor here) and booked her on the spot! She was great!

you can also try the make-up counters- most do free demos- maybe it will give you a better idea of what you like

You look beautiful! What did you not like? Was the base too heavy? Maybe you would prefer regular v. airbrish? Was it the colors? Try to determine what you did not like so that you know what you are looking for.

Try Kasey from khoulouds (vendor on this site.) She is very good at the natural look & does airbrushing. Look in my wedding album; she did my hair & makeup for my wedding.
Also, its helpful when you go for a trial to bring pictures of what you LIKE and what you HATE.
EAT _ funny... I just saw that someone above suggested Kasey. Call her. She's really great.

I think it looks pretty natural. If you don't like it: try another place, if you don't like THAT: you can do your own. Make-up is not ALL that necessary.

Same experience here. I had a trial with one of the make up artist in this site and was very disappointed...I had a cake of make up and she keep insisting its not.
I was about to give up and do my own make up for my wedding, then I met Kacey...she is very good. She is very friendly and she knows what she is doing. And like Lemons says, I also booked her right away.

def. try someone else. I would try the free demos at the mall thats a good idea and then if you find someting you like take a pic. and see if someone can recreate that or see if they will do it for you? that's what my mom told me to do....mom's know best!

take some pics of what you like to them. Also I think that the make up needs to be a bit more than what you usually wear so that it will show up in pictures well. You have to be happy so if you dont like it keep on looking. I went to MAC and Maximus in the Fortunoff mall. If you are a new client they do your makeup for free with a haircut.
