I weighed myself on Tuesday at around 5pm and then again this morning at 7am...and I was 7 pounds lighter this morning? 7 pounds? I didn't eat anything different...and to top it off, I am having a fat day today and I felt slim on Tuesday!!

Re: hate the scale, love the scale
I consider my scale the friend I love to hate. Mine does the same thing to me.

I prefer to weigh myself in the morning, it's always lower.

I think you should always be consistent with the time of day that you weigh yourself for accuracy.

Re: hate the scale, love the scale
I weigh myself every other week and sometimes it is so frustrating.
I am 5'8' and two weeks ago I was 127, last night I was 131 BUT I am fitting into size 28 pants.
Everyone keeps telling me that I look thinner but the scale tells another story.

you probably lost fat and gained muscle
people are shocked to here what I weight- I am so small and the number on the scale does not reflect that
according to the scale I weight about 127 at 5'2 I look better then last year when I weighted 10 lbs less- and all my clothes fit better-
I am much more muscular and healthy looking-
and you can't weigh yourself at night vs morning- it' always different

You're at your lightest for the day right after you wake up, after you go to the bathroom and before you shower. You're at your heaviest around 7pm.

I think people look so much better toned then just 'skinny'.
I am really excited about being more defined, esp my toned arms. I had never combined strength training and cardio before. And even though it is hard; I question myself in the middle of my boot camp class' it is worth it.
