Hate this weather

My FI bachelorette party is Sat. All week it said Sat would be beautiful. Now its saying thunderstorms.

can't do a FI bachelorette party in a thunderstorm... we are going over and back by boat

Oh no!! I'm headed to FL tonight. FH and I decided to get out of town for the weekend. The weather has been so awful here we were so looking forward to getting to sunny FLA. NO NO NO rain.

Where in FL are you going?

Ah that stinks!! Hopefully by the time you are going out the thunderstorms are gone.

no not FL, FI (Fire Island)... which means the barrier beach in the rain. I have been so worried about it because of the rain this month, but for the past 9 days they have predicted Sat to be beautiful. Now with 3 days to go the forecast changed.

My ladies luncheon & bparty are both this weekend too!

Yeah... when your taking a boat from your house to Fire Island, thunderstorms are not really a so be it. Its more a... have to cancel the plans situation. I knew I shouldn't have planned such a risky party.

I am going to Fire Island too I think. It says just a chance of thunderstorms (30%), so I will cross my fingers that it doesn't happen.

Oh, I'm so sorry sweetie. I don't know how the boat things work (never been on one, and never have been to Fire Island). Could you do Sunday as a rain date if it rains on Saturday? Is there an indoor part to the boat?

Maybe just keep checking the radars and see if it really is going to rain. Last night, I left work where it was pouring and ended up having perfect weather all night for the Mets game. It's so hard to know until it's time.
