Sure he's a mess like the rest of the celebrities in the US... (um, Michael Jackson) but his talent is incredible and his songs are timeless.

and his drunk-driving-into-houses is neither cute nor funny!

Well, everyone has the right to his or her opinion, but I think billy joel is one of the most talented singer/songwriters out there. He is my absolute favorite. His music is so timeless...it's not like you can classify him as 70s music or 80s music - it has a sound of its own.

Yeah, he's done some stupid things lately, like driving into houses, but who's flawless?
