Okay this may be a little long, I will try to keep it as short and sweet as possible. I found my dress months ago....and I have had several fittings because I have been losing weight. When I intial tried the dress on, I loved it, and the way I looked in it.....now I hate the way it looks on me and I am thinking about buying another dress. I don't know what to do. When I look in the mirror I see my DD breast, and the back fat, I don't feel the beautiful feeling you are suppose to have when you are in your dress!!!! I am going back tomorrow to have it adjusted again...the seamstress said I could wear NO BRA...imagine that, THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN THIS LIFETIME I bought a bridal bra to go with my dress, but it seems to accentuate the back fat!!! What should I do, ladies please help me, I will post a pic of my dress, I don't have any with me in it, but will try to post some tomorrow. TIA I really am struggling with this one.
what if the dress is loosened a little around the breast area?

Have you tried it with no bra? You could get cups put in

If you are really not feeling your dress, you should go to David's and see if you find an affordable alternative. Nothing wrong with having back up...

You could use chiffon, tulle or the illusion netting and make a back for it. Something tank-toppish in the front with a v-back down to the dress. Or V-back and front. It'll give you some coverage without changing the dress.

I 10000% reccomend you get a ONE PIECE bra/body smoother. Spanx are great!!!! they totally smooth you out. I too, have been endowed with DD's and god knows they aren't easy to handle sometimes....def get the bra that is attached to the body smoother. It works great!!! Try department stores, lane bryant, etc. HTH!!! You will be a beautiful bride!!

Re: Hating how I look in Wedding Dress
ok, the boob and back thing is very likely due to the bra you're using during fittings. I tried on 4 different long line bras, and the first 3 looked ... and the last (actually it's lingerie... a lace-up corset from frederick's of hollywood) works perfectly! no back fat, and the boobs and tummy look perfect.
so just keep trying them on with your gown, and you'll find the one...

Re: Hating how I look in Wedding Dress
Go to a lingerie shop and get a professional fitting for the correct undergarments. Yvette's in Bayside Georgettes in Hicksville Mary's Corsettier in Woodbury.
Makes all the difference in the world.

don't panic till you see what the seamstress can do for you. She may be able to totally make it look perfect! And we have to remember we notice things about ourselves (aka backfat) that NO ONE else will notice!!

Re: Hating how I look in Wedding Dress
Was going to suggest that you have cups put in the dress. Or like someone else sais go to David's and get a 2nd dress that's affordable.
It's a beautiful dress though.. I love it and the halter style is really nice!

Re: Hating how I look in Wedding Dress
what if you tried a body smoother- maidenform has one that looks like a mini-dress- built in bra and slims all over- it starts at the bra and goes all the way to the thighs,
its called flexees- they sell it in kohls.

Re: Hating how I look in Wedding Dress
Don't know if this helps at all but I was very unhappy with the way my dress looked at my last fitting and saw all my flaws...I trusted the people around me though and stuck with it and on my wedding day LOVED the way it looked...that being said if you are really are unhappy try to find undergarments or a new dress. GL! We are our own worse critics!
