Ok-so I just ordered a few pairs of these and the straps on all 3 pairs do not lay flat on the top of my foot and the sharp end is digging into my foot. I find it weird that all 3 pairs are like this.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about or have these? Maybe the strap has to mold to your foot and they get more comfy as you wear them? I don't know...just thought I 'd see what you guys thought.
Thanks!

Re: Havaiana slim flip flops
the bottom is very thick but to be honest...i don't see the big deal. the straps turn in a bit but I think it's weird that all of them feel like that. I think I might have to return-but I'm going to walk around the house with them and see if they hurt or not.

Those are actually my fave pair of flip flops! Too bad I lent my friend my brown ones and she left them in an Atlantic City hotel! I would say something is wrong with them if they don't lay flat.

i have the same problems with the 'slim' flip flops.....i have one pair and i never wear them because the straps cut into the top of my foot....BUT, i have several pairs of their regular flip flops and i LOVE them....they are my obsession every summer :)

I've heard of them! I must have about 8 pairs. They are the most comfortable flip flops you could ever own. I dont have any of the slim though, and the strap thing sounds annoying. I know they dont look as delicate, but I'd just get the regular pair. They make them in so many colors and patterns now I'm sure you could find some you'd like. It's worth it.

I love these flops! They do take a day or two to break in, but they last forever...mine anyway.

Ya know how after a summer of wearing Old Navy flip flops, they're flattened like a pancake? Well Haviannas have thick study sole that holds up... I've had the same couple of pair for about 3 summers now and haven't had to replace them once!
I have a pair of the slim band flip flops and I don't like them nearly as much as the regular band width... after a few wearings though, the band did turn in and mold to my feet.

They absolutely break in a little! I have several pairs & after a few wears will settle down and mold to your foot.... I used to wear old navy flip flops- then discovered these & they are worth the few extra $$$ !! So much more comfy & squishy
