Have a fitting next Wed, need opinions on the neckline of my dress...

This isnt a fitting to fit the dress to me its so the seamstress can work on the neckline of my dress.

I think the current neckline is WAY too conservative and would like to show a little collarbone action... wondering if I should to a sweetheart? Something else? I dont know a THING about necklines...



One proposal the woman at the store had was to make it a sweetheart... she pinned it that way in this pic...


More pics of my dress are in my albums if you are curious.. I just dont know how to tastefully lower the neckline without it looking weird. Any opinions?

Definitely make it a sweatheart neckline. I LOVE that veil too. It's beautiful.

I'm thinking that this would be a perfect watch to wear when you walk down the aisle. Plus, you could play Zelda if you got bored during your vows.

I say change it to a sweetheart, more than what she pinned. I'm doing that to mine as well. Much more flattering. Keep us posted!

The dress needs to follow a line, and a sweetheart neck does not follow the line. I think that an EXCELLENT option, that will follow the line, and show off some of your pretty collarbone is a SCOOP NECK.
The dress is MAGNIFICENT.

I do agree with the girls and say go for the sweetheart neckline. I think I am going to do that with my dress too.

I have the perfect Swatch Watch for you to borrow if you are still in need of you 'something borrowed'

I like the sweetheart better. To me, it falls across your chest in a much more flattering way... you look constricted with the original neckline... I say go for it! Beautiful train on the dress by the way... .it's like a little surprise in the back!

Yes do the sweetheart only lower and don't worry about showing too much skin because it's only your neck and you will look beautiful.
