it went REALLY well!

It's a nice pay increase too.

I'm just nervous because

1) I've been with my current company for a long time and this is a direct competitor

2) this job is not a desk job, but involves driving ALL over LI (including the Hamptons) and I live in Queens.

I used to do computer training for my company so I had to drive all over LI and I LOOOOOOOVED not being stuck inside al the time. IT's actually kind of a nice way to break things up, going to different locations all the time. I'd personally be thrilled.

I would love not having a desk job either. But I have no direction so navigation is a must.

It's a sales/markteing job, so a lot of it is going to potential client sites and trying to get meetings with them, so it requires a lot of persistence. But it's in an industry I know extremely well.

I feel the same way too. i LOVE going out and travelling, and meeting new people every day. I'm just worried it will be exhausting. I'll also probably need a new car, or to get a LOT or work done on my little car. She's almost 10 years old!
