So since we are having a Valentine's theme, i thought it would be cute to have tulle made up of the 'conversation hearts' and attach a place card to them & that would be the place card.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea. But the only comment I have is that it might be better to use little boxes instead of the bags, because the tags will flop around most likely.
Or even get cute favor boxes and print the seating assignments on a sticky label, and stick it to the top of the box.
My concern is that the tags attached to a bag won't sit right, especially as people start looking for theirs and the table gets more messed up.

I love it. I love the tulle because you can see the hearts. I suggest that youbuy those Valentine Cards kids give each other in elementary school as your escort cards. You can get them in CVS and they probably have them now.

I love that idea! The conversation hearts do go stale pretty quickly, so you'd have to be careful to make these up only about a day or so before.
If you'd want to make these up earlier, I'd use a clear favor box and the tulle to keep them fresh longer. Here's a link for a clear favor box:
