My parents still live in the house they brought me home to
I cant imagine anyone else living it in

My parents are divorced...my mom is not a homeowner. My DH's parents are life long renters. My DH is the first in his immediate family to buy a house and I am the third in mine (both my older sister and brother bought houses a few years ago). So the answer would be no. But thank God we broke that pattern and my future babies will come home to their very own house.

they live in the same house that i was brought home too. this is where i am as well.
what is even nicer is they are building up and my sister is moving in with her family, so the house will stay in the family.

Yes! I LOVE it... Unlike homes around here my parents and Grammie built the house my Dad still lives in. There's nothing like going home - seeing & feeling the memories of being a child. It's just a little weird sleeping in my old room with my DH!

No. We moved way too many times. They own condos and houses and sold them to upgrade each time or because it became too small for our 'growing' family. I have 3 other siblings.

My parents are divorced and my mom lives in the same house that I was brought home to. I couldn't imagine strangers living there.

my mom still lives in the house SHE was born in. 4 generations of my family have lived in this house. With my sis and BIL living upstairs, it may be 5!

no, we moved when I was five but have been in this house ever since. I will miss my best friend right across the street - but i will not miss my teeny tiny closet!

same here! i'm 1 of 4 too!! we've moved too many times to count. we always stayed in NY and in the same general area, but moved from an apartment to a house to a bigger house and then when my sisters went away to college they downsized to a condo. but then went to an open house for fun and fell in love with it! so they sold the condo and bought that house!!! i have to admit that i love this house though and they plan to keep it in the family forever now! they will probably add onto it and make it a mother/daughter for my sister and her family.
